When may we learn? When may we know what "snowball impact" means? We individuals consider ourselves the brightest species on Earth. We're those who created the expression "People who do not study on history are doomed to repeat it." And here we're, yet again, consuming our personal words. Here we're, repeating our personal problems, perhaps not understanding from previous problems, and allowing items to snowball out of control.
What am I planning on about? I am planning on in regards to the emergence of Very Weeds and Very Pests in agriculture because of over-use of chemical herbicides and pesticides. Where have we observed that happen before? We found the emergence of Very Viruses due to the over-use of antibiotics.
And the unhappy issue is, the Very Germ phenomenon did not happen that extended ago. It's perhaps not historical history. It did not happen somewhere "around there". It simply happened below, to people, recently. And however we did not look to understand anything from it.
If germs can be immune to antibiotics, exactly why is it this kind of stretch to believe weeds and bugs can be immune to herbicides? It confuses me that even yet in the center of this occurring, Large Ag scientists however demand that genetically revised seeds are the way to go. They however demand that fruits and veggies, chemically engineered to include their particular inner herbicides and pesticides, are the most effective choice. We are best herbicides manufacturer.
Even yet in the facial skin of obvious proof that weeds and bugs are adapting and growing immune to these compounds, growing stronger, larger, and more resistant, the Large Ag scientists continue steadily to need farmers to purchase genetically revised seeds.
What will it take? The medical market eventually found on that the over-use of antibiotics needed to be stopped. They found that antibiotics that had worked for years against germs weren't solid enough anymore. They noticed they had over-done it. The solution was to ease-back on the use of antibiotics.
Today we're faced with the same situation, but rather of easing-back and quitting while we are forward, the answer to Very Weeds and Very Pests is to make stronger and stronger (and deadlier and deadlier) compounds?! Can anybody claim "snowball impact"?
When there is no end in view, if you have no preventing position, how much does it get? How big may that snowball get? Will we ever learn? More info visit Brief Understanding of the Pros and Cons of Herbicides Formulations.
